1. Parameters & emphasis: This grant is awarded to public libraries, schools, and universities. They offer a total of 2,500. Eligible applicants must not have been winners in the past five years.
2. Deadlines: September 22-28, 2019
3. Description: This grant intends to support activities that help raise awareness of intellectual freedom and censorship. Grantees are expected to share their events on social media and local press within 6 weeks of the banned books week celebration.

Value of Academic Libraries Travel Scholarships

1. Parameters & emphasis: The Association of College and Research Libraries is offering travel scholarships of up to $2,000 each for librarians presenting on their work demonstrating the impact of academic libraries in the broader landscape of higher education. For this particular topic, presentations will be those supporting intellectual freedom in academic libraries. Applicants must be employed as a librarian or information professional in an academic or research library in the year prior to application for the travel scholarship. The person must also be a member of ACRL.
2. Deadlines- August 31, 2019
3. Description: The individual/s will present work on the impact of academic libraries at higher education conferences or conferences. The comitee will be looking for individuals who bring different perspectives and from a variety of institutions, and geographical regions.

Academic Library Impact Research Grants

1. Parameters & emphasis
This grant is being offered the Association of College and Research Libraries. The amount has a limit of $3,000. Applicants must be employed as a librarians or information professionals, and must be a member of ACRL. The following grant is not intended to cover personal tuition costs.
2. Deadlines: Applications are due by 5 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, April 25, 2019
3. Description: The grant is directed towards librarians and information professionals that wish to conduct research on how libraries impact student learning and success. The goal is to build on the foundation of the Academic Library Impact. Applicants should use quantitative or qualitative approaches, and other investigative methods such as: evaluations, case studies, essays, surveys, and proposals that involve the partnership between librarians and other higher education stakeholders.
